One of a kind hand crocheted 100% silk Horseshoe style necklace. Made from tussar silk yarn that is hand spun in central east Asia. The silkworm cocoons are collected in the wild forests and have a natural gold sheen. Beautiful raw silk feel and tone…the fiber blooms a bit with wear and has a gorgeous organic/primal feeling to it. Reminds me too of the gorgeous weavings of Magdalena Abakanowicz - I’ve included a picture of one of her “Abakans” titled Lady, 1970 for reference.
