Meet Paul and Polly.

They have been patiently waiting on my wall to be drawn in wire for over a year and I couldn’t be happier to spend time with them. 

Emerging from a most special, bizarre and once in a lifetime piece of Buckeye Burl I salvaged in Southern Oregon. Buckeye is a very difficult and expensive wood to mill. Some of the obstacles faced when milling are rocks, sand, dirt, bullets (?), and rattle snakes (!)…inside the voids in the burl! This is a very special piece I will miss, but happier to have it grace your wall. Nestled so fabulously between framed works, these two are sure to catch eyes. So many good shadows!
