This incredible piece of Ziricoté has had me under it’s spell for months. I love this type of wood. It is as if there are stories trapped within this tree and each slice is a different chapter. There is, unmistakably to me, a figure standing in a pathway, bird on their shoulder. A new friend, a messenger, a future self. Whatever it is I can’t stop looking! A really special piece to display amongst framed works.
